I'm Ben, and I've been a productivity nerd for most of my life and felt compelled to look for ways to level up.

I've tried a lot of different productivity systems: Getting Things Done (GTD), Bullet Journaling, Kanban, Eisenhower Matrix, Essentialism, etc. Every iteration came with the hope that checking things off faster off my list would lead to a more meaningful life and avoid burnout.

You can guess how that worked out… 😅

The Problem

Over the years, regardless of how much effort I put into my productivity system, it always felt like I was playing whack-a-mole:

Recurring themes would keep popping up:

  • Being busy but having little to show for it at the end of the day
  • Overcommitting and on the edge / already in burnout
  • Failing to spend enough time on other things that matter to me, like friends, family, hobbies, etc.

As soon as I solved one thing, another thing would pop up. Then, when I fixed the next problem, something I had fixed would pop back up. 😵

The Solution?

While this is where you'd typically find a call to action on how a new revolutionary system will take you to new heights, you'll find none of that nonsense here.

Instead, this blog will be a record of my journey to building a solution that helps people spend time on the things that matter most to them.
